COMING SOON

WELCOMING GUESTS SPRING 2024

Renovations for the long-awaited opening of the Stockton Inn are nearly complete, but there are still a few finishing touches we need to make to ensure that this 313-year-old gem stands tall for another three centuries. It won’t be long till we can open our doors and welcome you inside.

The original guests at the Inn had to share bathrooms, but you won’t. So, while yes, we’ve kept much of the original charm, modern amenities and fine finishes like gas fireplaces and marble bathrooms abound.

Like any renovation, there have been a few surprises. We found old rooms concealed behind drywall, crumbling fireplaces, rickety staircases, and unstable joists. Happily, there are no closeted skeletons to report.

The culinary program at the Inn will honor local producers and providers with a collaborative, community-driven ethos. Chef Bob Truitt, a deeply respected and award winning chef who’s worked with Micheal White at AltaMarea Group in NYC, Stephen Starr in Philadelphia, and Ferran Adria in Spain, will lead the savory, bakery, and pastry programs in Stockton. Though an acclaimed pastry chef, Chef Truitt’s skills extend to refined Italian cuisine and craveable favorites. The Italian coastline undoubtedly inspires his approach to the menu. Creative pastas and a bounty of seafood will be staples on a constantly evolving menu informed by the best locally sourced seasonal ingredients. He’ll be joining Anthony Rudolf, a Bucks County native, industry leader, and former Director of Operations for Chef Thomas Keller, who will oversee all aspects of the Inn’s operations. We’re excited!

So please remain patient with us as we strive to get every detail just right. We know it will be worth the wait.
